The AUA Acopian Center for the Environment in collaboration with Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and FAST – Foundation for Armenian Science and Technology organizes a public talk on “Biogeochemical Time Machines: Theory and Practice.”

Dr. Aleksey Kamyshny received his MSc and PhD from the Casali Institute of Applied Chemistry of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Since 2011 Dr. Kamyshny has been working as a senior lecturer at the Department of Geological and Environmental Sciences, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Beer Sheva Israel. From 2008 – 2011 he served as a research associate in the Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology, Bremen, Germany, and research associate at the University of Maryland, College Park, Department of Geology and The Earth System Science Interdisciplinary Center. Dr. Kamyshny has 44 peer-reviewed publications with h-index 20, two book chapters, and two patents.
