This survey is part of the EU-funded PERITIA project which reviews the role of science in policy decision-making and the conditions under which people should trust and rely on expert opinion that shapes public policy.

The survey was conducted in the UK, Ireland, Norway, Poland, Italy, Germany and Armenia, drawing on the proprietary online panel of Savanta in the UK and similar panels in their network in the other European countries. In Armenia, a phone survey was conducted by AUA’s Avedissian Center for Business Research and Development. See the technical note at the end of this report for more details.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 870883.
