About the Workshop

Multi-Stakeholder Workshop on “Wildfire Prevention and Community Contributions to Wildfire Management” organized by AUA Acopian Center for the Environment and United States Forest Service will take place on October 28, 2019 in the Akian Gallery,  American University of Armenia.

The workshop will discuss the following issues:

– Opportunities between the government, communities and the society to coordinate forces and cooperate to prevent wildfire

– Educational, engineering and implementation aspects of wildfire prevention

– Targeted planning of wildfire prevention using data on fire causes
