Carbon Emissions in EU: A decomposition and decoupling analysis by Professor Vincenzo Bianco
STREACS (Strengthening Research in Armenia for Energy Transition toward Climate Solutions) and IRESI (International Renewables and Energy System Integration at Maynooth University, Ireland) hosted their second online seminar, “Carbon Emissions in EU: A decomposition and decoupling analysis,” led by Professor Vincenzo Bianco.
The presentation focused on an analysis of the trend in carbon emissions in the EU. It provided insights into tools for analyzing the driving forces that influence carbon emissions in the EU.
STREACS is funded by the European Commission’s Horizon Europe program under grant No. 101159235. The project is led by the American University of Armenia (AUA) Acopian Center for the Environment. Project partners include National Polytechnic University of Armenia, the Scientific Research Institute of Energy in Armenia, Maynooth University (Ireland), University of Genoa (Italy), University of Campana (Italy), and Artemat SRL (Italy).
