The Conference brought three global and academic pioneers as well as a panel of experts from Armenia to address the following:

-POLICY: Integrated landscape management and eco-agriculture (Keynote: Dr. Sara Scherr, agricultural and resource economist, specialized in integrated landscape management, particularly agricultural landscape analysis and planning)

– ACTION RESEARCH: Sustainable landscapes and the socio-ecological approach (Keynote: Dr. Joern Fischer, Professor of sustainable landscapes at the Faculty of Sustainability at Leuphana University Lueneburg, Germany)

– TECHNOLOGIES: 3D technologies in public participation and urban green infrastructure planning (Keynote: Dr. Nora Fagerholm, Adjunct Professor at the University of Turku and an Academy Research Fellow and Principal Investigator of the Academy of Finland)

Each keynote talk was followed by a panel discussion by experts from Armenia. The third day of the conference was dedicated to students’ work on these topics.
