IT and Environment

Environmental monitoring, protection, and restoration is being impacted with the rapid advancement of information technologies. GIS, remote sensing, machine learning, AI, digital twining are among the increasingly critical tools in creating environmental benefits in pursuit of sustainability. The AUA Acopian Center is working with partners from AUA, Armenia, and globally to advance the use of these tools. It also helps to integrate the use of these tools in AUA’s educational and research activities.
