Youth on Trust Awards 2022 was a part of the PERITIA project. Students from across Europe were invitied to share their views in a forum where their voices can be heard on the topic of trust in our social and political life.

For the Youth on Trust Awards students were asked to create a project in response to a question or issue their opinion about the most important in relation to the topic of trust in public life. The projects were in the format of an essay, podcast, film, blog post, short story or dialogue.

The Youth on Trust Awards 2022 was open for students between the ages of 13-18. There were three prize categories for students in the following age groups: 13-14 / 15-16 / 17-18. Entries were accpted from any of the 47 member states of the Council of Europe. The winning entries were published and awarded a trip to the heart of the European Union in Brussels in 2023. Youth-on-Trust Competition: 4 Winners from Armenia

4 of the 12 final winners of Youth-on-Trust Awards 2022 were from Armenia. Following the deliberations of the PERITIA jury, the winners of each age category were announced on 20 June 2022.

Hundreds of schoolchildren from Armenia and other European countries participated in the YoTA competition by sharing their views in the format of an essay, podcast, film, blog post, short story, or dialogue on the topic of trust in our social and political life.

Close to 45 students from 25 different Armenian cities and villages participated in the competition. The jury in Armenia identified 9 finalists, from 3 age groups, whose names were sent to the European-wide pool of finalists. As noted above, 4 of these won the international round of the competition.

The Armenia jury, comprising 5 philosophy professors from various leading Armenian universities, included Dr. Levon Babajanyan (YSU), Dr. Sylva Petrosyan (YSU), Dr. Karine Yararyan (YSU), Serob Khachatryan (YSU), and Dr. Arshak Balayan (AUA).

In the category from 13-14 years, the four winners were:

In the category from 15-16 years, the four winners were:

In the category from 17-18 years, the four winners were:  

Laura Bzdak, Poland
Eylül Değirmenci, Turkey
Natalia Niedźwiedź, Poland
Aneta Pastuszka, Poland
